Short-term deposit rates continued to replicate those in the Euro-Zone with spreads on the 1-week deposits, however, much larger than those on their Euro-Zone counterparts.

On the 29th of July eighteen outright deals in the secondary inter-bank market for Bulgarian government securities occurred. The par value of the debt securities traded (29.34 million levs) exceeded the total par value traded for the period 1-28th of July (21 deals for about 21 million levs).
