EUR/USD traded between 1.5611 - 1.5705. The dollar benefited from speculations that comments from G8 officials could push oil prices lower. On the other hand, the euro suffered from the unexpected drop in German May industrial output. As of 15:50: EUR/USD - 1.5640, USD/JPY - 107.60, USD/CHF - 1.0310, GBP/USD - 1.9660. Negative sentiments kept BSE shares in the red. Stock exchange indicators lost between 0.6% to 1.80%. BG40 closed at 290.52 while SOFIX dropped to 1100.63. Market volume was slightly below 2.2 mln levs but 50% of it was OTC. Some of the most liquide shares lost between 2% and 4.5%. Central Cooperative Bank, Oil and Gas Exploration and Bulgarian River Shipping shed 4.12%, 5.66% and 5.57%, respectively. Construction stocks Holding Roads, Mostsroy and Trace Group Hold trade at around 1.7% to 2.4% discount. Hevyweights Sopharma, Lead and Steel Complex as well as Albena AD were among the few gainers. Their shares rose 1.22%, 2.39% and 2.57%, respectively.
